The Hanseklinik features three fully equipped operating theaters with adjacent recovery boxes, providing optimal conditions for a wide range of surgical procedures. Depending on clinical requirements, surgeries can be performed under general anesthesia, on the standing horse, or with CT guidance.
Our six purpose built examination rooms allow comprehensive care for both inpatient and outpatient horses. Each room is designed to meet specific medical needs.
The ophthalmology suite can be fully darkened to create ideal conditions for detailed eye examinations. For emergencies such as colic, a dedicated room with a secure examination stock is available. Orthopedic diagnostics and treatments are carried out in a specialized room tailored to these requirements.
In addition, we now offer comprehensive dental treatments including surgical procedures in our dedicated dental suite, which has been specifically designed for advanced equine dentistry.
Our spacious clinic grounds extend across approximately 11,000 square meters and provide excellent conditions for diagnostics, treatment and recovery. Facilities include trot up tracks, a hard surface circle, a lunging hall, and three stables with more than 70 horse stalls as well as outdoor stalls.
A loading aid is available for horse owners to ensure safe and convenient transport.
The infrastructure also includes all essential facilities for daily horse care such as feed rooms, hay storage areas and a machinery hall.
