Please make sure to bring your horse’s equine passport and, if possible, complete our registration form in advance. If your horse requires inpatient treatment, our team on site will inform you about any additional documents or information we may need from you.
Depending on the season, please bring either a sweat rug or a winter blanket for your horse.
You are welcome to visit your horse during our visiting hours. However, we kindly ask that you always register in advance. After registering, you will receive a visitor pass at reception.Our visiting hours are as follows:Monday to Friday: 10:00 to 18:00Saturday: 9:00 to 12:00Sunday and Public Holidays: closed
Yes, you may bring your own feed after consulting with our veterinarians. However, we kindly ask you to portion the meals in advance and label them with your horse’s name and the date. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee feeding your horse with your own feed. At the Hanseklinik für Pferde, our patients are normally fed low sugar muesli, mash, and hay.
If you are interested, we can offer additional lunging or hand walking of your horse for an extra fee to help maintain your horse’s mobility. Please feel free to speak to us separately about this.
