Please always bring your horse’s equine passport and fill in our registration form, preferably in advance. If your horse needs to be treated as an inpatient, our team will tell you on-site which additional individual documents and information we will need from you.

Depending on the time of year, you may either want to bring a cooler or a winter cover for your horse.

You are welcome to visit your horse during our visiting hours. We do ask, however, that you let us know in advance. After registering, you will be given a visitor ID upon arrival.

Our visiting hours are as follows:

Monday–Friday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Sunday: Closed

Yes, you are allowed to bring your own feed after consulting with the vet. However, we would like to ask you to pack the meals in portions and label them with your horse’s name and the date. Otherwise, feeding with your food cannot be guaranteed. Here at Hanse Equine Hospital, our patients are fed a regular diet of low-sugar muesli, mash and hay.

If interested, for an additional fee, we can also offer an extra lunging or horse-leading service to ensure your horse’s mobility. Please speak to us about this separately.

We offer our patients different-sized stalls in the indoor and outdoor areas of Hanse Equine Hospital. They are mucked out and given new bedding daily.

The Hanse Equine Hospital offers its clients a separate parking area for horse trailers near the clinic grounds (horse paddock, Neuer Weg (next to house number 22), 27419 Lengenbostel) during inpatient treatment. You will receive detailed directions here. Use is free of charge for our customers, but parking is at your own risk. The Hanse Clinic for Horses accepts no liability for damage to vehicles or horse trailers or similar. If required, you will receive directions and an access code at our reception with which you can enter the parking area..

You can pay directly at reception. Please note that we are unable to accept payments in cash and can only accept payment via standard debit or credit cards. Alternatively, you can also settle your balance by bank transfer and by invoice via our partner BFS health finance Ltd.

Please follow the directions on our website, or enter our address into your navigation system: Karl-Benz-Strasse 5–7, 27419 Sittensen.
