Practical Cardiology for Equine Practitioners
Last week, VetPD hosted a 2-day course for practicing veterinarians with renowned speakers at our Hanseklinik.
The following speakers were on site as experts in this field:

Day 1 included hands-on echocardiography sessions in 4 small groups with horses showing various cardiac findings.
On Day 2, the focus was on recording and evaluating resting and exercise ECGs, as well as heart murmurs and arrhythmias.
On both days, theoretical knowledge was not neglected alongside the practical sessions. The company Scil provided state-of-the-art equipment for the examinations.
